We are working on building a new compost bin and putting in a gate where the old compost bin is.  We want a gate there so it is easy for the back lots to have accewss to the tool shed, compost bin and the front gate.

Rooster's Rendezvous Monthly Cleanup News

Please join us SATURDAY, JUNE 2^ND, 2PM TO 6PM, CLEAN UP COMMON AREAS, FIX STUFF, WEED (√ Morning Glory!)

AND DINNER POTLUCK.

What to bring: Gloves, work shoes, personal tools, food for potluck Dinner.

This year, to keep each plot working through the summer, we encourage you to greet your fellow neighbor gardeners and get to know them.  We need your help to communicate with the leaders if any one abandons their plots so we can have them cleaned out at the next meeting.

It is requested in your garden agreement to volunteer hours in the garden, if you were unable to come to previous parties, please join us at one of the following:

It is time to start thinking about what your going to plant in your garden plot this Spring.

We all need to think about the things to plan on doing before spring time comes. Here are some suggestions for your thoughts.

Clean up your plot

Volunteer for garden jobs.

1. We need work on the compost bins.
2. We need some common area cleaning and weeding.
3. We need some more worms for the worm bin benches.
4. We need some signs for the worm bin benches to say: Please feed us your scraps of vegetables.
5. We need the tool shed and green house cleaned up.
6. We need some signs for visitors to read about our history and purpose.
7. We need some help making a cleaning table with a screen to wash our pickings on.
8. We need some painted rocks for the rock garden
9. We need some ideas on a pedal powered compost bin turner system.
10. We need some ideas on a drip irrigation system to water our grapes along the fences.
11. We need volunteers for leadership positions: President, Webmaster, Secretary, Treasurer
