21 ACRES NEEDS VOLUNTEERS      This email was sent to me just a few days ago.  They are still looking for volunteers for tomorrow and Wednesday.  Mike and I, Melissa, will be there on Wednesday.  Hope to see a few of you there.

       There is a volunteer opportunity i would like to make you all aware of, I believe this opportunity will especially benefit those with interests in community supported agriculture and community gardens or farmers markets in our area. 
 
Who:
Students/Faculty and community members willing to help
 
What: 
Phone Bank Survey-Calling residents and asking for their need and support of a community garden and farmers market, in our local area. Part of a feasibility study for (21 Acres) 
 
Where:
Phones and space are being graciously provided by Woodinville Weekly Newspaper. Carpools are being organized to and from campus.
 
When:
April 28th and 29th From 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Dinner will be provided)
 
How: Ten persons needed each day!!
 
Training will be provided the first 30 minutes to 1 hour of both days by Vance Corum. Vance is a farmers market consultant/business development advisor with the USDA and has 30 years experience studying, implementing, staffing, funding and managing farmers markets in the U.S. He currently has two projects within minutes of campus.
